Event Details
An evening of short films and reflections by award-winning filmmaker Tim Wilson.
In the course of his nearly 50-year career, Nova Scotia filmmaker Tim Wilson has profiled some of the most significant artists and figures of our time. And taken, with equal verve, to people in his own back yard. With “Old Hands”, the director of films like “Griefwalker” and “The Last Weir” presents an evening of selections from and reflections on his favourite works.

“His film work is astonishing, at once visually lush and scripturally poetic” — The Globe and Mail
“… a light that is both his own and that of the artist …. exquisite work” — The Canada Council for the Arts
”brilliant … a simplicity that oozes quality without being out of reach” — Sir Nigel Bogle, BBH global ad agency
“Integrity, poetry and depth. A small local story that provoked thoughts about much larger forces.” — Annette Clarke, National Film Board of Canada
