For Emerging Directors
A workshop designed to guide emerging directors as they embark on their directing journey. The workshop will deal with pragmatic questions as well as philosophical ones and examine every step in the collaboration that is directing a play. Topics will include play selection, physical spaces, respectful collaboration, working with designers and stage management and the value proposition of theatre today. Participants will be asked to bring one script that inspires them to the workshop.
Whether you have lots of directing under your belt or are wanting to try it for the first time, you are sure to get a lot out of this workshop.
