Wing It! will be fun and engaging, a mixed media exploration of the birds we’re lucky to see here in Nova Scotia. Participants will develop their ideas with all kinds of materials and techniques to create a beautiful body of work: drawing, painting, printing, collage...
Wing It! will also link up with Young Company Productions (YCP), a youth-centered theatre arts program in Annapolis Royal. Founded in 1999, YCP supports the integration of performing and visual arts.
March 13-17, 9am-12pm
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7-10 year olds
- Tuesday, Thursday: 11-13 year olds

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Becky Thompson is a certified art educator and has taught art for children of all ages (pre-school through secondary) in schools throughout Nova Scotia She is also a practicing artist who has exhibited her own work widely.
Becky is an ethusiastic and charismatic artist and teacher. She enjoys challenging children to find a method to communicate their ideas and experiences through the visual arts.
