Making a Scene with Becky Thompson
We’ll be creating our own miniature worlds with mixed media dioramas. Campers will create their own interactive characters and scenes to tell a story using a wide range of materials. SO much fun…who doesn’t love mini things?!
Co-sponsored with Young Company Productions (YCP), a youth-centered theatre arts program In Annapolis Royal. Founded in 1999,YCP supports the integration of performing and visual arts.
+ CELEBRATION EVENT: July 7, 12pm-1pm
All youth and families will gather to celebrate the week of creative activity. A display of completed work will be installed. Light refreshments.
WHAT TO BRING
All art materials are included in the cost.
Each participant should bring a snack, water, and wear a painting shirt.

Becky Thompson is a certified art educator and has taught art for children of all ages (pre-school through secondary) in schools throughout Nova Scotia She is also a practicing artist who has exhibited her own work widely.
Becky is an enthusiastic and charismatic artist and teacher. She enjoys challenging children to find a method to communicate their ideas and experiences through the visual arts.
