Join us for two Mi’kmaw films, a conversation, and some traditional drumsongs as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.

FILMS:
Words Matter: Mi’kmaw poet and activist Rebecca Thomas is profiled in her journey to reclaim Mi’kmaw language. A Film by Stephanie Jolie, who will be present.

We Story The Land: A film by Martha Stiegman & Sherry Pictou about a project connecting people in L’sitkuk with their Land and culture.
