L'arche Homefires is excited to host its first annual Film Fest: Home with Homefires.
The word "Home" is a place that we all long for, a place to land where true acceptance and belonging are offered without hesitation.
Join us for a family-friendly afternoon where we explore the meaning of Home with Homefires in our very own town of Wolfville and raise some funds for fun!
We invite you to join us where a number of core members will be introduced from across the globe through several featured movies from L'arche International's documentary series "As I Am". Throughout the afternoon we will explore the communities and "homes" of L'arche through stories and lived experiences. The award winning (Oscar nominated) animated short film, Free Bird co-written and directed by Michael McDonald and Joe Bluhm will also be featured.
