Event in Room: Studio (upstairs)

The debut feature by the great Andrei Tarkovsky, "Ivan’s Childhood" is a poetic journey through the shards and shadows of one boy’s war-ravaged youth. Tarkovsky’s film remains one of the most jarring and unforgettable depictions of the impact of war on children.

Join Concordia film graduate Christopher Ward as he introduces the work of Andrei Tarkovsky. Christopher will be screening a selection of films over the course of fall/winter 2023/24. There will be an opportunity for discussion after each screening.
