Get ready for a powerhouse night of Blues & Roots with Kim Doolittle and the Doctors.
Kim Doolittle is a Singer, Songwriter, Storyteller, Musician, Wordsmith and Entertainer. She did her first gig at 10 years of age then left home at 18 for a “walkabout” that took her to 60% of the globe, Guitar in hand. She is a “Road Scholar” and writes from those experiences, sharing them through song.
Nine Original recordings and years later she has returned to her Native Nova Scotia, reconnecting with her Maritime Roots while working on her 10th full studio album called “50 years a Singer”. It is a compilation of 9 Studio Albums being curated into a retrospective of a storied musical life to be released March 1, 2024.
She has shared the stage with Jeff Healey, Bruce Guthro, Steve Lukather (Toto), Ken Whiteley, Downchild Blues Band, Rita MacNeil, Edgar Winter, Michelle Wright, Blue Rodeo and many more. When asked what she does, she simply says “Kim Doolittle Music”, influenced by Blues, Gospel, Maritime Music and Folk. She has often joked she has the Grit of Lucinda Williams, The Sass of Bette Midler and the Soul of Bonnie Raitt all wrapped up in one Girl Singer.
She looks forward to playing for old friends while making new ones in 2024, guitar in hand, with her band The Doctors. See you at the show!
