An opportunity for children, ages 7-10, to explore a wide range of materials and techniques. Led by artist and educator Becky Thompson.

Up to 10 participants
Projects will involve playful experimenting where the emphasis is on the process not necessarily the outcome. Materials are included in the cost. Dress for mess!
A WORD FROM BECKY:
"For twelve years, I wrote and delivered series of workshops for children within HRM as well as running camps at my home studio. For the last two years, I have really enjoyed leading art camps at ARTSPLACE and am super excited to be involved with this pilot project. Thanks to Terra for reaching out with the idea! I can't wait to see what your young artists create!"
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Becky Thompson is a certified art educator and has taught art for children of all ages (pre-school through secondary) in schools throughout Nova Scotia She is also a practicing artist who has exhibited her own work widely.
Becky is an enthusiastic and charismatic artist and teacher. She enjoys challenging children to find a method to communicate their ideas and experiences through the visual arts.
