Join us for a special night celebrating the 40th anniversary of Annapolis Region Community Arts Council and the cultural renaissance of Annapolis Royal.
We will screen three new films by ARCAC and Andrew Tolson: A mini-documentary on the 40th anniversary of ARTSPLACE (13 min.), an Artist Profile of Ken Flett (3 min.), and an Artist Profile of Deb Kuyzk and Ray Mackie (6 min.)

Following an intermission, we will also screen RURAL RENAISSANCE: How Canada’s Oldest Town Reinvented Itself (48 min.). The 2021 documentary about the revival of Annapolis Royal in the 1970s and 80s was spearheaded by Jane Nicholson and AIRO, with the support of filmmaker Andrew Tolson and researcher Wilfred Allan.

Ted Lind, Andrew Tolson, and other special guests will be present to say a few words.

Doors open 45 minutes before showtime. Please arrive early.
