DeeDee Austin is a 17-year-old Indigenous singer-songwriter from Fall River, Nova Scotia. Winner of the Music Nova Scotia Indigenous Artist of the Year 2023 and 2022 award, New Artist Recording 2022, Socan’s Young Canadian Songwriters Award Honourable Mention and the recent recipient of the Chief Noel Doucette Youth Achievement award. DeeDee has been making notable strides on the East Coast with the release of her debut EP, Stepping Stones which released in the Spring of 2021 along with her newest single Natural Born Original and is currently in planning stages for her upcoming single release Stay Dancin’ which will be available September 15, 2023.

DeeDee’s multi-faceted sound will be sure to have you dancing, while simultaneously pulling on your heart strings!
