The short film I Place you Into the Fire will play first, and this screening will be followed by a Q&A with filmmaker Stephanie Joline.
Feature documentary Sugarcane will start around 8pm. This film is already being short-listed as a nominee for Best Documentary at this year’s Oscars!

A stunning tribute to the resilience of Native people and their way of life, SUGARCANE, the debut feature documentary from Julian Brave NoiseCat and Emily Kassie, is an epic cinematic portrait of a community during a moment of international reckoning.
