We are very excited to team up with Halifax Newcomer Choir facilitators to bring a pop-up event to the VCLA Community Hub! Sherise Jones and Cristian Quirivan will lead songs, and we'll have a break halfway through with snacks and time to socialize.
The Newcomer Choir welcomes anyone who wants to sing, build community, and meet new friends.
There is no fee or registration required to attend the choir. Please feel free to bring your children, family, and friends.
If you have never sung before – that’s great! You are welcome. If you do not speak English well – that’s great! You are in the right place. You do not need to know how to sing to make music together. You do not need to know how to speak someone else’s language to build a community.
