Ross Creek Centre For The Arts Presents Photography With Sue and Nat Tileston On November 16th.
REGISTRATION BY FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14 at NOON ESSENTIAL FOR MATERIALS AND LUNCH!
Adult Art Sundays continues at Ross Creek with a Photo Narrative workshop by Sue Tileston on November 16. Class runs from 10-4pm and includes a gourmet lunch and guided tour of My Story, Sue and Nat Tileston’s RBC Community Gallery exhibition. Cost is $75.00 plus materials and HST.
Using point of view, light, subject matter, and composition, participants will build a story about a person, place, thing or event. Instruction will focus on looking and talking and on discussions of the photo narratives being built during the workshop.
The photo narrative workshop coincides with Sue and Nat Tileston’s show, My Story which runs from November 16-December 18 in the RBC Community Gallery. Opening reception from 1:00-3:00pm on November 16th.
Nathaniel and Susan Tileston worked as professional photographers in New York City for 20 years before moving to Nova Scotia’s Annapolis County in 1982. Since 2006, Sue and Nat have been working with Karen and Burmese refugees on the Thai/Burma border, giving small groups digital cameras and basic photo instruction.
Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, an education and development centre for the arts based in rural Nova Scotia and reaching out to the world.
