Rug Hooking with Margaret Forsey:
In this beginner workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a folk art style hooked rug. By reusing old clothing and coffee bags, you will create an eco-friendly work of art! Different materials will be provided to experiment with, as Margaret Forsey teaches you her “anything goes” technique of rug hooking.
Materials cost $20 per student - includes frame, hooking tool and materials.
Poetry & Prose with Carole Langille:
In this writing workshop, you will learn how to begin, how to go deeper, and what makes a piece of writing powerful. Open to advanced as well as beginning writers, this is a wonderful opportunity to get feedback on your work. You will explore how writing reveals what we didn’t know we knew and celebrate the courage to unlock the mysteries hidden within us. This is the way we honour our lives.
