Come and see some of the rising musical stars of the Valley play a wide variety of instruments and styles. Everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Pride and Joy" to Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" on a mixture of acoustic & electric guitar, bouzouki, banjo and bass!
Two of the academy's students, Josh Churchill and Cadel Jones, will be feature performers for the night, opening and closing the show with longer sets that have been prepared over the last 6 months. In addition, many of the Academy's other students and some outside guests will be accompanying them as well.
All in all, this is a great event for all ages, and in particular, if you have kids that may be interested in guitar, this is a very good way to give them exposure to the instrument.
Admission is by free will offering and proceeds go towards helping cover the cost of lessons or materials for students who may find the cost prohibitive.
Just Us! tea and coffee wil be served as well as other refreshments.
