Adapted for stage by Allen Cole, Rockbound is based on the novel of the same name by Frank Parker Day. Released in 1928, Day’s work is one of the best-known pieces of Canadian literature of the period, recently enjoying a resurgence of popularity following its win at the 2005 Canada Reads competition on CBC Radio.
