The Mary Celeste is perhaps one of the most famous sailing vessels in the world-known not for her accomplishments but her strange misfortune. Launched in the Bay of Fundy within sight of the Ross Creek Centre, she was found in 1872 under sail and in perfect condition, but without any of her passengers or crew. None were ever found. The international effort to discover what happened to the Mary Celeste continues to this day, the truth as elusive as the Sea Monster some think claimed the lives of the missing sailors. Our production is about the quest for the truth, the power of persuasion and the allure of the unsolvable puzzle.
