Saturday September 26, 2020  1pm - 3pm (2 Hours )
Music Wheelchair Accessible Family Friendly

The Canning Kitchen Party can't resist extending the season, because we have some amazing musicians coming to play a harp-heavy double bill. Many thanks to the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts for providing a space with indoor/outdoor options for this great music! Halifax musicians Tatsu Oki (fiddle) and Ellen Gibling (harp) will start the afternoon with some traditional dance tunes from Ireland, Newfoundland, and Sweden. The second half features Màiri Chaimbeul (harp). Originally from the Isle of Skye, in Scotland, we are very fortunate that Màiri has recently moved to the Valley. She is internationally known as a soloist and teacher, as well as for her work with the Aerialists, with Jenna Moynihan, and with Darol Anger.
This event is family friendly, and you are invited to bring your instruments for a socially-distanced jam afterwards! (weather permitting)
Outside in the Lamella if the weather's warm, studio otherwise (bring a mask in case).

Seating is limited so please RSVP kimbarlow77@gmail.com to reserve a ticket.

$20 or pay what you can/ kids free
