Macbeth by Fire by William Shakespeare
Macbeth, a Scottish general who has been fighting for King Duncan, is confronted by three witches who tell Macbeth that he will become king of Scotland. Macbeth is spurred by both his ambition and his wife and haunted by a prophecy he seemingly cannot escape, leading his family and his nation into a spiral of murder and tyranny.
