Our coolest season at Ross Creek offers clean air, the dazzling splendour of light and snow, and a new way to experience nature. If you've come before, you'll get to the next level, and you can use it towards Duke of Edinburgh award qualification! With the guidance and support of our fabulous eco-educator Laura Muntz, campers will learn winter survival skills focusing on fire-making, shelter-building and winter navigation, and a love of the winter woods. Campers will build confidence and skills in the outdoors, while making new friends and incredible memories. The weekend will be challenging and a whole lot of fun! Fresh, healthy meals and cosy accommodations are included. Weather is closely monitored and activities are adjusted based on current weather conditions.
We welcome newcomers, and while families are responsible for ensuring their child arrives with the appropriate gear, you can also let us know what you might be missing so we can sure a safe and fun adventure! Takes place Feb 9-11th, for ages 9-14.
