UNDER THE SEA with Jessica Sheila
For enthusiastic young artists aged 7 to 11 years.
An opportunity for children to explore a variety of materials and techniques. Projects will involve playful experimenting and each week will be different!
Oct. 30-Nov. 27
During this 5-week program, your child will explore creativity through an underwater inspired and upcycled lens, while dabbling in various creative techniques.
We take our imaginations to new places, and build positive experiences through each playful choice.
An exciting element is the idea of repurposing and innovating, while playing. Reusing common everyday materials that box our foods and sit on our shelves, eventually being tossed away. Building 3-D structures while considering and learning about the underwater worlds.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Jessica Sheila is an artist and a true believer in incorporating creative play into our lives no matter the age! She completed an art therapy certificate program a few years ago and has been exploring structured and unstructured play with children and adults since.
Jessica resides in Annapolis Royal and opened her new business, H’Arts, House of Arts in 2023. She offers workshops and various creative opportunities for both children and adults, studio space for rent, as well as a shared gallery and handmade creations from Canada.
