Upset that the real world is forcing you into a course on international trade this winter instead of letting you binge Severance in peace? With the least math possible, join the Acadia Economics Department for this public lecture that will attempt to cover as quickly as possible a brief empirical history of the Canada-US trade relationship, the theory of tariffs at both the ECON 101 and 402 levels, the outcomes of previous Canada-US trade spats, and the costs and benefits of retaliation and buy local policies. Feel free to share with classes, friends, or community - there are no tariff barriers to attending this talk!
