Event in Room: Classroom (lower level)

In this week's Brown Bag Lunch, we will discuss the role of Community Health Boards and how these boards are working to create healthy communities in the Annapolis Valley. Health begins where we work, live, and play. When talking about “fixing” illness, sometimes we miss the bigger picture. Rather than talking just about health care delivery, this presentation will shift the conversation to what it will take to improve our individual and collective health in our communities and as a province. We will end the session with a discussion on how we can link healthy communities to municipal election issues.

This free event is offered by Acadia Lifelong Learning (ALL). If you enjoy the Brown Bag Lunch series, we encourage you to consider joining ALL.
