On Tuesday February 6th, Authors@Acadia is honoured to present two storytelling sessions with Filmmaker, community activist, drummer and educator Cathy Martin, an independent producer, and the first Mi'kmaw woman film maker from the Atlantic Region. She is a member of the Millbrook Mi’kmaw Community near Truro, Nova Scotia. She has been making award-winning documentaries about her nation since 1989, and is a recent recipient of the Order of Canada.
The first session starts at noon in the Acadia Room of the KC Irving Centre and the second sessions starts at 1:30 in the Classroom on the lower floor of the same building.
