Stratospheric coloratura soprano Suzanne Rigden in recital with Tara Scott, piano. A program of Mozart, Rodrigo, Richard Strauss, Poulenc, Debussy, and two young Canadians, who won a recent competition for female composers. Rigden is renowned for her thrilling singing of such roles as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute, or of Zerbinetta in Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos. Tara Scott is one of Atlantic Canada's most respected collaborative pianists.
